A perfect getaway for families, beach lovers, coast to coast cyclists and visitors to the Lake District. Scafell Pike, Ennerdale, Wastwater, Buttermere, Loweswater, Crummock, Keswick and Cockermouth are all within driving distance. The lovely harbour town of Whitehaven is 5 mins away. There is a key safe lockbox system in place for entry/check in, however, should you want to be met by the owners on arrival that can be arranged. The owners will be available during your stay should you have any problems. St Bees is a lovely, quiet, quaint village with a beautiful beach, coastal walks and numerous pubs/restaurants. There is a play area for children and a superb locally made ice cream shop 'Hartleys'. St Bees has a train station within walking distance of the property which links to Whitehaven. There are regular buses to Whitehaven, Egremont, Ravenglass. Access to the beach is via the main route into the estate. Please respect the neighbours property do not jump over the wall as a short cut to the beach.
