If you are looking for something more than just an accommodation for your holiday, stay overnight at Stone Hill and experience a truly unique part of New Zealand farm life. Endless country views of rolling hills and stock grazing. A great space to relax, plan and recharge. We have to offer a modern 2 Bedroom Chalet with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area and a new renovated bathroom. There is one Double Bedroom incl. Sofa Bed (it's ideal for a child / children) and a Twin Bedroom. A continental breakfast is included in your stay, as is tea, coffee, sugar and milk (milk is supplied fresh from the farm). Free Range eggs are available when our chooks are laying well. Enjoy a horse trek while staying here, we cater to all riding abilities from complete beginners to experienced riders. Our horse trekking Business is called "Stone Hill horse trek". You can also bring your own horses for an overnight stay, we have safe Yards and offer fun rides over our farm. We live also on the Farm, so we are only a phone call away if you need anything. Stay for a long Weekend or even looonger at our cozy Farmstay with a Pool right in front of your doorstep. Here is just an idea how your getaway could look like: On the day of the Arrival, jump in the Pool and treat yourself with cheese platter and a Glass of wine/Beer/Cocktail! Have a good night sleep, wake up to the sound of nature and get ready for a fun horse ride over one of the most beautiful farms in New Zealand (Booking required at Stone Hill horse trek). Relax at the Pool in the afternoon, have an early BBQ and get ready for a breath-taking Glow worm Kayak Tour at Riverside Adventure. Again have a good night sleep, wake up to the sound of nature and get ready for a Blacksmithing Workshop at Kowhai Forge and forge your own knife or Pizza Cutter. Next day do some Sightseeing and visit the Swing Bridge in Arapuni, the Blue Springs in Putaruru or go for a hike to the Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari, or go for a stroll on our Farm and visit the Water Buffalos! Seriously we have so much to offer in our Area. Waikato River Trails, Maungatautari Mountain (Sanctuary Mountain - a sanctuary for native birds), and the very popular Rhubarb Cafe, which is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. There are also local landings for your boat to enjoy the excellent fishing on picturesque Lake Arapuni. We are also very central to Te Awamutu (25min), Cambridge (35 mins), Hamilton (50min), Rotorua (1.15hr), Tauranga (1.15hr), Taupo (1.30hr), Hobbiton (30mins), Waitomo Caves (45mins), Mystery Creek Farm Field days (40 mins), Te Waihou Blue Springs (35 mins).
