Relax and unwind at our beloved family cottage. Just a short walk from the beach, enjoy a memorable stay complete with plenty of movies and books, and a large yard for outdoor activities. As our guest, you have full run of the cottage. Enjoy the bright and sunny cottage, or go relax in the large yard. The front yard has many seating options, and the back yard has a fire pit. Fire up the bbq for dinner on the patio and enjoy your cottage oasis. You have access to the entire cottage and yard. The host will not be on site during your stay. I will not be on site for your stay, but I am always accessible by phone. I live in the city so if you need something that has not been discussed ahead of time, it will take me an hour to get to you. The cottage is a short walk from many beaches, including Milne Park, which has a volleyball area and swings and a tire swing. In the other direction is the well (for potable water) and another beach. Enjoy our beloved local restaurants such as Julia’s Place and the Whytewold Emporium. Getting to the cottage is about an hour’s drive from Winnipeg, straight up Highway 9. Directions will be provided upon booking confirmation. Unfortunately the cottage is not accessible by bus. The tap water at the cottage is not drinkable, but is fine for brushing your teeth and showering. Well water is accessible a block from the cottage. Guests are encouraged to bring their own bottled water.
