La Corticella Apartment

Located in Santa Maria del Giudice, 8km from Lucca and 10km from Pisa, La Corticella is a newly refurbished self-catering apartment with local amenities within a 5 min walking distance. A very quiet hamlet, Santa Maria marks the halfway mark between Lucca and Pisa. There is a beautiful open plan kitchen with all the necessities to make you stay, home away from home. There is a lovely courtyard exiting the kitchen where you can dine 'al fresco'. There are two double bedrooms and a large bathroom on the first floor. There is a washing machine at your disposal. For those in need, there sofa opens out to a double bed. You can find all you need in the centre of town, bottega (local grocery store), various bars, trattoria, post office, beauty salon, ATM, laundromat. Esselunga supermarket is 5 km down the road and Carrefour 7km towards Pisa. There are lovely walks in the nearby hills for those of you who are passionate about nature. There are local buses from the centre of town that take you into Lucca's main bus and train station or Pisa Centrale. Versilia, the famous beach resort is only 15 mins by car, Forte dei Marmi, Viareggio, Lido di Camaiore and Torre del Lago can all be reached by car. The highway is a 10 min drive: Most of the Tuscan main cities are reachable by car, train or bus. Florence is a 60 min drive, Siena, Arezzo and the Chianti hills about a 90 min drive.
