A very warm welcome to The Bake House Apartment at The Old Bakery, Bunbury. We have strived to make your stay a pleasant and enjoyable one in the beautiful surroundings of our home. Bunbury is a beautiful village in the heart of south Cheshire with plenty of amenities. Peckforton Castle and Beeston Castle are both in close proximity. A booklet on the local area can be found in the apartment on arrival. The Bake House apartment is part of our home that can be completely locked off from the rest of the house. My husband and I are full time residents and available for any queries you may have. Entry to the apartment is via the Old Bakery courtyard. The apartment also has French windows into a rear garden which will remain for access only in the event of fire. The Bake House Apartment has its own access. This can be found via the courtyard. Should you require assistance please do not hesitate to call us, contact information can be found within the information booklet. Bunbury is an excellent choice for a relaxing weekend with lots of beautiful walks. (The halfway point of the Sandstone Trail is only a short drive away along with the stunning Bickerton hills). Bunbury has it’s very own coffee shop, beauty salons and local public houses all serving amazing food. The village might seem familiar to visitors as it was featured in the ITV series Home Fires. A car is essential as public transport is very limited should you wish to explore the area, Chester being just 10 miles away. The cities of Liverpool and Manchester are just 30 miles away. We have beeston and Peckforton Castle’s within 2 miles and Delamere Forest just 7 miles away. The historic walled city of Chester is just 14 miles away, Nantwich is 7 miles away. Liverpool and Manchester are both within an hour’s commute.
