THE SPACE: Beudy Hologwyn- 'The Cowshed' is newly converted barn restored to a high standard for 2020 and set in its own 5 acres of beautiful rolling farmland. The property and it's garden offer wonderful views across the mountains Snowdonia and is less than 10 minutes from the coast. LIVING AREA: Lounge, kitchen & dining space is open plan giving the cottage a lovely sense of space and light. KITCHEN: A well equipped, bright & light brand new kitchen. We've aimed to cater for a relaxing stay with plenty of cupboard space, plenty of wine glasses, modern John Lewis units, an electric oven with induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge freezer. There is a large Ercol table ideal for enjoying some relaxed dining. On a clear day you might even sneak a view of Snowdon from the cottage window. LOUNGE: Includes at 42" smart TV, a comfortable sofa and chairs where you can kick back and relax as well as a cosy reading chair. There is under floor heating throughout the property. Solid oak flooring in the living areas and soft sumptuous carpeting in the bedrooms. BEDROOMS : X1 Superking Double X1 Kingsize Double (or twin) MAIN BEDROOM: Superking Set on the second floor of the cottage it offers a super comfy, Superking size bed, crisp John Lewis bed linen, stylish traditional Welsh Melin Tregwynt throws and cushions, plus an en suite with free standing roll top bath and large walk-in shower. There is a 40" Smart TV, plus a day bed, which can be converted from a sofa /chaise into a toddler bed (upon request and for an additional £10 charge per day). SECOND BEDROOM: Kingsize (or twin) The second bedroom is on the ground floor. Bright and airy with plenty of charm. It can be arranged as a twin, or as a kingsize double and includes a 40" Smart TV and also an en suite bathroom with shower. There is a walk-in wardrobe. GARDEN AREA: There is a lovely garden area to the front of the cottage with bench seating, bistro table and chairs. Enjoy morning coffee or afternoon drinks and stunning views across the whole Snowdionia range as well as a special view of Snowdon on a clear day. *** Please Note: This is a shared space with our other cottage (Hologwyn Bach- The Little Farmhouse) and we kindly ask guests to observe all the current social distancing recommendations in this space. Beudy Hologwyn: Artist in Residence Most of the artwork hung in the cottage is by talented local artist, Mary Jane Flower. Mary’s work is on display as a ‘pop up’ style gallery for you to enjoy, browse and even take away with you and includes a number of limited edition mounted giclee prints. We really love Mary’s work and hoped it might be the perfect reminder of your special time here capturing Anglesey, the swirling seas that surround us and the mountains we look out on. Please do enquire if you’d like any further details. THINGS TO NOTE: This is a two-storey cottage. The twin/kindsize bedroom is on the ground floor, the main bedroom is upstairs. This is a self- catering listing.Breakfast is not included.The cottage is however equipped with some simple essentials though to help ease you into the start of your holiday: tea, ground coffee, sugar, milk, salt & pepper, olive oil. We do accept one well behaved dog (but kindly ask that you do not allow your pooch into the bedroom areas). There is an additional £20 charge for this, which we ask you to pay on arrival. Additional Note: We have another cottage Hologwyn Bach- 'The Little Farmhouse'. It is next door to Beudy- The Cowshed and both properties can be booked for larger groups (sleeping 8+). Please see our other listing. I live beside the property, in the main Farmhouse. Either myself or my husband Phil are usually available if you have any questions, or just need a chat about the area. Also very happy to make recommendations of things to do. The cottage is located in beautiful countryside with 5 acres of surrounding farmland, which you are free to explore. A public footpath leads directly from the cottage to the prehistoric Bryn Celli Ddu burial site and you can connect from here onto the Anglesey Coastal path. Getting around The A55 and Britannia Bridge are only 5 mins LLanfairpwll station is just 5 minutes away with direct line to London and Holyhead.
