This beautiful period flat is located on the harbour front in Campbeltown town centre. With original dark wood doors and high ceilings, this spaceous flat is a perfect home from home for any visitor. It is within easy walking distance of all local restaurants, pubs and attractions. The flat has one double bedroom, a single boxroom/bedroom and a double bed settee, therefore, sleeps up to 3 adults . Very attractive flat with bay window views overlooking Campbeltown Loch. The property is located on the first floor of this harbour-side close. The flat has central heating throughout, Sky TV, DVD player and Wifi are also included. Additional bedding is available for guests to use, and also a hair dryer, ironing board, iron , and towels . The kitchen hosts all the regular appliances including a microwave, washing machine, fridge, freezer, Foreman grill. Tea, and coffee are included. The whole flat is accessible, and guests also have access to the grassed area to the rear of the close for use of the clothes drying area. The owner, Marna, does not live locally but is available to answer any questions before or during your stay by email and/or text. There is a key safe for key collection and during your stay Marna’s dad Peter, will be nearby should you need any assistance also, and be responsible for the collection of keys. An information folder is also available in the flat concerning the flat, local area and attractions. This lovely home is located in Argyll and Bute, Scotland, United Kingdom. The flat is on the harbour front, and is within walking distance to the ferry terminal. It is next door to the local cinema, and around the corner from the Campbeltown museum/Linda McCartney gardens. It is within a 2 minute walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, pubs and the tourist information centre. There are also some lovely walks with stunning views straight from the door. The local supermarkets, sports centre and swimming pool are within a 10 minute walk. So too are the 3 Campbeltown distilleries and whisky tasting rooms. There are multiple sandy beaches and 3 golf courses within a 15 minute drive, as well as hill and lochside walking, including the Mull of Kintyre lighthouse. The ferries to the isles of Arran, Gigha are within a 30 minute drive, and to the isles of Islay and Jura within 45 minutes. There is a bus to Campbeltown from Glasgow, but it is recommended to have a car, either your own or a hire car from Glasgow airport. Flights from Glasgow are also available to Campbeltown. Once in Campbeltown there are plenty of attractions and amenities within walking distance and there are local bus services, taxis, and limited ferries and flights (limited by season and weather). On street parking is available outside the property. There is no allocated parking, however there is plenty of on street parking to the front of the property. The flat is accessible by stairs only, unfortunately there is no disabled access. There are 2 local supermarkets within half a mile, there are also local shops and kids playpark within walking distance.
