A modern, light & beautifully situated dormer bungalow with three double bedrooms. Located on wooded hillside in a picturesque village in Snowdonia with wonderful views. Lovely scenic walks from house. Only 5 mins drive to Porthmadog with good shops, 10 mins to fabulous beaches at Borth y Gest & Morfa Bychan, 20 mins to Snowdon or Zip World. A few mins walk to a bar-restaurant at Aberdunant Hall. Well equipped kitchen, fibre broadband, 50" smart TV, Bluetooth audio, Alexa, washer-dryer & more. The house is in the Snowdonia National Park. If you turn left out the back of the house and walk 3 minutes up the road you come out into the wide vistas of the national park. See the accompanying photos. Outside has a graveled area for parking three or more cars. The garden has a lawn, patio and wooden decked area with table. The garden attracts lots of birds and there is deciduous woodland all around. The house is a detached dormer bungalow and has central heating plus a wood burner. Has good fibre broadband and wi-fi. We will allow one pet, but please contact to discuss. We provide bed linen for each bed, bath towels, hand towels, bath mats, tea towels, washing up liquid, dish sponges, hand soap, ample supply of toilet paper. We do not provide bath soap, shampoo and other toiletries. Please note the cleaning fee goes towards cleaning and linen for each stay, allowing a lower nightly price. Downstairs: - Kitchen-dining area, with well equipped kitchen, including induction hob, modern washer dryer, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, 6 person table, Amazon echo, wood burner (bring your own wood); - Living room with 50" Panasonic smart TV and Apple TV providing free-sat and streaming services, laser printer, plus Bluetooth audio system; - Bathroom with bath, basin and toilet; - Bedroom with en-suite shower/toilet room (note: no basin - wash hands under the shower). Upstairs: - Two double bedrooms. This is a dormer bungalow, which means there are no toilets or washing facilities upstairs. Children's games, dolls house and puzzles available upstairs. We will send instructions for access before you arrive. This is our holiday home, but you have access to the whole property apart from a few cupboards. Please note, we require guests upload a 'government ID' (passport, driving licence, ID card) to Airbnb before making a booking. Once you have done this you can book instantly through the Airbnb system. See the Airbnb instructions here for uploading your ID. Note, we don't see this, it is just used by Airbnb to verify your identity. We are readily available through airbnb messaging, by email or telephone and will contact you with details when you book. This is the most beautiful part of snowdonia. If you walk up the steep road behind the house for 10 mins you will find great views over the Glaslyn estuary, Tremadog Bay and the hills of South Snowdonia The property is conveniently located for access to the mountains and the sea. There are family activities like ‘Bounce Below’ and ‘Zip World’ within 30mins drive. Shops and other amenities are available a few miles away in Porthmadog. Although the house is in a tiny village, there is a local restaurant and bar hidden a few minutes walk away in the Aberdunant Hall holiday park. A list of local activities and walks is available at the property. Bus Timetable If you do not have a car there is a bus stop at the bottom of the road. The bus timetable and plan my journey can be found at: (Website hidden by Airbnb) Snowdonia is a fabulous environment with lots of activities suitable for adults and for children. Please note that this is a rural community and there are are domestic dogs and working dogs nearby which may bark at night, the occasional cockerel crowing. But otherwise its incredibly quiet apart from birdsong.
