It has been transformed into a charming homestay ideal for family and friend gatherings. It's a great place to relax and recharge in the countryside of Normandy. La Ferme se situe dans la Domaine de la Chapelle, qui est classé Monument Historique de France. La famille BARREZ s'occupe de la domaine depuis 300 ans. Le chateau et sa domaine se retrouve au ceour de l'Eure entre champs de blé et forest regional. Les alentours offres un paysage typique Normand, avec le Village Normand à moins de 2 kilometres du chateau et les ville de La Neuve Lyre et de La Vielle Lyre à moins de 5 kilometres. La domaine est complete avec son parc du chateau, son bassin, ses vergers, les jardins anglais et son foret. Il y des chemins pour se balader à pied, en vélo, et même en quad. The castle grounds are fully accessible during your stay. You are free to wander anywhere on the grounds almost exclusively. You are encouraged to bring your pets to enjoy the park. Also don't hesitate to bring bikes, quads, and other outdoor activities! La famille BARREZ reste souvent sur site pendant votre location, sinon on aurais une proche qui serait a votre disposition via téléphone et en personne. The family and friends of Château de la Chapelle are often on site for the duration of the reservation. You will have a number you can call us on at any moment of the day/night. The first village of La Neuve-Lyre is 3 km from le Chateau de la Chapelle. There you can find local artisinal products (bakery, deli, butcher, markets), and a handful of excellent local-food restaurants. The larger town of l'Aigle is about 15 minutes away by car and is host to markets, shopping, restaurants, banks, supermarkets and more. The place is accessible primarily by car.
