Cosy Guesthouse own private entrance and car park

Experience Melbourne in a cosy guesthouse located in a safe and friendly suburb of Alphington, in inner city Melbourne, 7km northeast of city centre. The Alphington train station and buses to the city are all within 5 minutes walk. Local market is on every Sunday by the Alphington station. Various eatery, restaurants and supermarkets in the nearby suburbs of Fairfield and Ivanhoe. Please note masks are required to be worn currently in Melbourne indoor and outdoor. The guesthouse is located at the back of the main house, shared same address but totally separate from the main house and has private entrance from the back street. The guesthouse is upstairs, has its own ensuite and enclosed undercover car parking downstairs. The room has AC, ceiling fan, and heating. You have your complete privacy, in and out at your own leisure, enjoy unlimited Wifi top NBN speed with Smart TV, and Netflix. Kitchenette include microwave, fridge, mini oven, single stove, and functional wash basin in the bath room downstairs. Free use of BBQ in the garden. Continental breakfast is provided (cereal, bread, butter, jam, yogurt, fruit, juice, and milk). Retreat in the garden with outdoor setting for your disposal. Smoking is allowed in the garden. My place is strictly for max of two persons. I don’t have sofa bed or extra mattress. Be mindful if you have mobility issue as my place may not be suitable. It is important you let me know if you are booking the place for self isolation. Guest can self check in as this place has its own private access via different street separate from the main house. See the picture provided. Keys are kept in a lockbox secured with code. See check in instruction. I will try to accomodate your need for early check in if your plane arrives early. Alternatively if I have back to back booking, you can drop off your luggages. You can message me via Airbnb messaging or via my phone. There are two cafes nearby, Fosette cafe and Alphington Food store by the station, within 5 minutes walk. Fosette also open for pizza night few nights a week. Red Rooster is two minutes walk. Within walking distance are Greek tavern, Benjamin Kitchen (Fusion Asian), and Alphington Social (Italian), very well recommended. The next suburb Fairfield is one station away and Ivanhoe, two stations away, have various eatery, supermarkets and shopping destinations. You also can walk 10 mins to Fairfield and 15 mins to Ivanhoe, or driving, 5 mins. Alphington Farmers market by the Alphington station every Sunday 9am - 1pm. Enjoy fresh food, music, and mingle with the locals. It only takes 15 mins by car to the city , however, parking is expensive during the day. Train from Alphington station will take you to the city in 25 mins, stop all stations, and even quicker if you get the express line. Bus 546 to the city will take you to the famous Victoria market. Check out Winter night market from June till August every Wednesday night! Bus 508 from Alphington station will take you to Northcote buzzing High street and off to Moonee Ponds, an upmarket north shopping precinct. Stop and stroll at Brunswick, for upmarket young and hipster area of Melbourne. Take the train to Melbourne Cricket Ground, Marvel stadium, Rod Laver arena, Hisense arena and Olympic stadium. Airport is at the outer city. Taxi costs about $60-$70 from the airport to Alphington. If you are travelling alone, using airport Skybus and connect with the metro at Southern Cross station is more economical. Skybus fare is $18 per person. At the station you need to buy Myki ticket, the fare cost is $9.00 daily which can be used everywhere within metropolitan area zone 1 and 2, which covers big area. Tram within city is free. I have a friendly dog and a cat, usually they are inside the house when we are home otherwise they are outside.
