Seaview B & B at home in St Abbs (New Asgard!)

Seaview B & B is located on the clifftop above the stunning harbour in St Abbs and offers you a homely welcome in this historic fishing village. We are ideally placed for coastal walks to St Abbs Head or Coldingham beach, we are close to public transport (handy for pub visits) and its an easy stroll to both cafes in the village, the visitor centre, dive boats and rib rides up the coast. As keen walkers and divers ourselves, we will help you with all your sandy boots or dripping dive kit. The room overlooks the harbour and if you rise early enough you will see the beautiful dawn from your room. It has two single beds and tea / coffee facilities are provided in the room. The ensuite has a shower and bath towels are provided. We serve a full cooked breakfast if required in the morning in the Sun Room with a sea view to set you up for the day. A selection of cereals is also available if you prefer a lighter alternative. If a twin room is not what you are looking for, we also have a double room listed on Air B&B You can also use the Sun Room in the evenings to chill, check your photos, recharge your kit and use the table space if you need it. There is a small garden which is a lovely little sun-trap which you can use. It overlooks the putting green so once you've watched others do the course you can have a go and show them how its done! We will always try to help with any questions you may have about the area and to point you in the right direction. The village is an incredibly friendly place to stay so you will never be far from assistance even if we are not around - we do tend to disappear under water ourselves occasionally! If you are visiting to see the place where Thor was drinking with some dubious aliens in New Asgard, then we are happy to talk to you about the film as we have seen it and screamed when we saw St Abbs on the big screen. One important thing to note - we have a fluffy adorable (biased opinion admittedly) cocker spaniel in the house. While we will always try to keep her away from guests as much as we can, she is known to escape if there is the smell of a sausage, so please do bear with us if this happens and we will banish her as soon as possible. If however you are happy to tickle her (she is very cute!) then you will have a best friend for the duration of your stay.
