Cozy summerhouse in the edge of a forest on island

Our lovely summerhouse is perfect for silence & coziness and for active family living. We have a lovely livingroom with a fireplace, two bedrooms, a fully equipted kitchen and a small bathroom. Everything decorated with a mix of old and new furniture in our own nordic style. During summertime you can use our terrasses, zip line, trampoline, campfire etc in our hilly garden next to the small forest. If you are lucky you can watch deer on their walk crossing our garden in the morning. The house consists of an open plan with kitchen, livingroom and diningarea. Further more there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. The supply of warm water is limited so you can only shower short. There is a doublebed in each bedroom and 2 singlebeds / one doublebed i the livingroom. The house is insulated, and there is a fireplace in the livingroom. There is a shed with firewood next to the house. Firewood is included. Theres is also an electric heater. Outside we have 2 terasses, a big garden where you can play, a trampoline, a funny zipline and a small forest. If you travel to Oroe by car: You drive until you reach Hammer Bakker (zipcode 4050 Skibby). The Hammer Bakke ferry will take you to Oroe in 6 minutes time and departes every 20 minute between 06:00-24:00. If you travel to Oroe by train: If you go by public transportation the easiest way is by train to Holbæk and then by the ferry from Holbæk to Orø. The distance from Holbæk ferry on Oroe to the house is 3 km. We have no taxi service on the island. You have to walk to the summerhouse, or alternative you can try to get a lift. Normally people are very helpful. Normally we have self check-in, but sometimes we will be there to meet and greet you. There is a keygarage at the left side of the front door, you will get the code a few days before arrival. Oroe offers you peace and quiet. It is a small island with 1 supermarket and 1 church and a few small places to eat simple food. All you have to do is relax and enjoy the nature, the fireplace and each other. - And that is exactly why we love Oroe so much! Last ferry is 23:30 If you travel to Oroe by train: If you go by public transportation the easiest way is by train to Holbæk and then by the ferry from Holbæk to Orø. The distance from Holbæk ferry on Oroe to the house is 3 km. We have no taxi service on the island. You have to walk to the summerhouse, or alternative you can try to get a lift. Normally people are very helpful. We do not have a cleaning fee, but we do expect, that you leave our house in the same condition as you took over. In other terms: we clean for you and make your bed and you clean for us and remove used bedlinen. If you have a dog, it is more than welcome as long as you keep it in its dog leash all the time with regards to our neighbours. When you arrive to the house, you are only allowed to park in our driweway next to the house and not at the gravel road.
