Country/Beach retreat (Rose room)

A large, private, ensuite room with garden views. The Rose room has a separate room off it with a set of bunks. MAXIMUM TWO ADULTS AND THREE CHILDREN under twelve. Children under twelve free see other things to note below. For extra guests we also have other rooms available at an additional cost (see our other listings). Also available is the lounge, kitchen, dining, laundry and spa. Our home is not only surrounded by trees and a series of garden 'rooms' but is also adjacent to a small park with a small playground, bush walks and only a 15 /20 minute river walk to the beach. There are also several bike tracks that are easily accessible. Fishermen will also enjoy the sea and river where you can catch trout and salmon (in season). We also have two other bedrooms available for BnB for an additional rate. Guests are able to enjoy most of the ground floor of our home, use the spa, the BBQ area,WIFI, outdoor seating, our extensive book, magazine and movie selection and cook their own food in our kitchen. We are happy to share our home with you but believe in allowing our guests as much space as they need. Our accommodation is upstairs but we are available and happy to share our local knowledge. We are located in quiet area that is within easy driving distance to Christchurch, Rangiora and Kaiapoi with their fine range of shops and restaurants. Some of our guests have gone to Hanmer Springs as a day trip. We are also any easy drive to many award wining vineyards and day tramps/hikes for those who appreciate our native bush. We have off street parking for 4 cars. There is a bus service to Christchurch which runs hourly most days
