The Annex at Hollymount Cottage

A small, cosy, stylish, self contained annex. Part of a listed cottage set in the AONB village of Avonwick; on the edge of the South Hams, Totnes, Dartmoor and the South coast The Annex has it's own entrance, little galley, desk area, double bedroom and en-suite shower room. Living in the main house are a sociable, young family of three and a puppy! We can organise a cot for 0-2 year olds The annex is hand built and tastefully decorated. The little galley kitchen includes oven, grill and hobs, a fridge, Belfast sink and all the necessary utensils! The bedroom has a hanging area with full length mirror, a comfy double bed, small sofa, tv and a selection of books. There is a little en suite shower room with basin, toilet and electric shower. Additionally there is a small desk area for work (work?!) and map studying! Guests are welcome to use the garden which includes an outdoor table and chairs, fire pit and benches. The Annex is self-contained and has it's own covered access with table and chairs. You are also welcome to use our garden and BBQ We welcome interaction with guests and enjoy socialising / sharing stories but also respect privacy should you prefer Avonwick is a small village in South Hams with two pubs- the Avon Inn (100m away) and The Turtley Corn Mill (a mile away). The larger village of South Brent is only one mile away and a nice cycle / walk for shops, pharmacy, (more pubs!) Being only a mile to the A38, the location provides excellent access to the South Hams, Dartmoor, Exeter and on to Cornwall. Totnes is a wonderful and unique market town and is only 5 miles away. There are numerous rivers, walks, tors and beaches close by and we would be very happy to show you some tips on a map We would recommend you have a bicycle or car while you're here! We can host a little one up to the age of 2 and have a travel cot which you are welcome to use if needed. Please bring a high chair if needed.
