Breesfalt Gite Accomodation

Our gite is in the secluded and very pretty Hamlet of La Borderie in the Haute Vienne. An open plan living space, suitable for two guests, tastefully decorated with separate bathroom, fully contained kitchen area and private garden, free wifi, French and English TV. Ideal for walks, cycling, fishing and golf. Only 50 minutes from Limoges Airport. Approximately 5.5 hrs from the ferry terminal at Caen. There is so much to see and do in this truly lovely area. Breesfalt is an ideal resting place to enjoy the serene surrounds of the Limousin, based in Haute Vienne near the border with the Dordogne. A quiet place to relax and unwind. You can enjoy trips out to the spectacular surrounding countryside, chateaux and the swimming lakes and beauty spots to be found locally. Also on a Wednesday morning the nearby town of Piegut holds a weekly market . Gated driveway from the road leads into the gite where there is a private parking and private garden for gite use only, sun loungers, table and chairs to use as well as a BBQ. Transport is a necessity. I am available anytime. Please just knock if you have an issue or question and I will do my best to assist. If you expect to arrive quite late and would like me to do a small shop for you, please give me a list and I will give you the receipt so you can settle up on arrival. La Borderie is a beautiful and peaceful Hamlet, wildlife surrounds you, total tranquility. A wealth of birds and butterflies. The most wonderful expanse of stars to watch in the night sky. A car is required as we are approx 5km from our local town, Saint Mathieu, with all its amenities, supermarket, butchers, bakers. There is no washing machine in the gite but the supermarkets have superb washing and drying facilities, if you need to use one, you can always do your shopping while it is being washed and then collect it from the machine on the way out.
