Charming Farmhouse on Umbrian Hills

This charming farmhouse in the countryside of the Umbrian hills is an ideal place to discover the “green heart of Italy.” It is located near many interesting cities rich in art, history, and tradition, such as Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto and Assisi, and is within easy reach of Rome. The heart of this wonderfully restored farmhouse is a fully furnished, large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Next to it is a welcoming and relaxing living room with satellite TV. Two spacious queen-size bedrooms are also on the first floor and have ensuite bathrooms. Both bedrooms look out on the picturesque Umbrian landscape. On the second floor there are two twin bedrooms, also with ensuite bathrooms and fantastic views. 3 out of 4 Bedrooms have ceiling fans. The farmhouse can accomodate up to 8 people. It looks out on a beautiful, well-maintained garden that merges into nearby olive groves. The garden features a 36x13.5 ft swimming pool set against the spectacular panorama of the Tiber valley. - Heating is an extra cost and will be billed on site by consumption, € 1/m3 - Swimming pool is open during late spring and summer months - Table tennis is also available in the garden during autumn, spring and summer - Laundry room is available for guests to use Train service to Rome is 5 miles away, and the entrance to the main North/South A1 autostrada is less than 6 miles away. This makes it a wonderful location to explore Rome and other cities in Umbria on day trips. Arriving by car: from Rome Motorway A1 (Naples-Milan), Attigliano exit, turn right, then left direction Lugnano in Teverina, drive another 7.8 km in the direction of Lugnano on the road SP 33, then turn left into the Via Ranti, about another 1 km. until you come to a dark green gate with the number 109. Coming from Amelia, on tha main road SP. Amerina, turn towards Lugnano at the traffic lights and continue toward Attigliano for c. 3 km, then turn right into the Via Ranti and drive another 1 km until you come to the green gate of number 109 on the left. By train, take the connection Rome-Florence (regional train), Attigliano station: 60 minutes from Rome. The farmhouse is equipped with Internet access, dishwasher, electric oven, large refrigerator/freezer, small refrigerator, microwave oven, washing machine, ironing board, satellite TV, radio/CD players, barbeque, table tennins, and independent heating.
