Collector Cottage

Enjoy your own private Cottage located in the centre of Collector. Recently renovated Kitchen, bathroom and living areas. Star gaze to the beautiful night sky, sleep in luxury hotel quality linen, wake to the sounds of nature and enjoy the fresh country air and surrounds. Enjoy a farm fresh breakfast at the Some Cafe, or take a 5 min walk to the historic Bushranger Hotel for dinner. Collector is located between Goulburn (25 mins) and Canberra (35 mins) along the Federal Highway. This is a recently renovated private cottage with your own bathroom and kitchenette. A microwave, fridge with Tea and Coffee facilities for when you arrive or before you head off. Comfy Queen size bed with hotel linen to provide a unique country experience. We are pet friendly. We ask that pets remain on a lead when outside due to the free range chickens. Pets can stay inside but we ask that they remain off the furniture and bed. The Cottage is located at the back of the main house. Plenty of off street parking is available out the front. Access is via a lock box if no one is home. Drive BETWEEN the Cafe and the ANZAC Memorial to find us. Let us know what time you will arrive and we can arrange to have heating and lights on for after dark arrivals. We are a social host and would love to meet and have a chat upon arrival and then leave you to your space and privacy. Collector is a historic town dating back to 1865. Enjoy dinner at the Bushranger hotel or brunch at the Some Cafe. Collector is located 2.5 hrs from Sydney airport and just 35 mins to Canberra airport. It is 2.5 hrs to Jindabyne for skiing enthusiasts. Please note the Cottage is not the main house. The cottage can be seen from the driveway and will be directly ahead of you when you park. The lockbox is located at the Cottage, not the main house. The Cottage will already be open for your arrival. There is a path with lighting to the Cottage. There are a few stairs to get to the cottage. We have free range chickens on site. Please ensure all pets are on a lead when outside. Collector is a Satellite Broadband town. So your best internet link is through a hotspot with your phone. Otherwise you will be connected to our modem which then is connected to 4G network.
