Linen and towels are also provided, together with an information pack in the property, with a list of local activities and things to do. The location of the farm means that we have lovely views over the Vale of Aylesbury and Ivinghoe Beacon, so we are in the middle of the countryside, and yet only 10 minutes to shops, railway station and a wealth of activities the area has to offer. The property is self contained, and located on Town Farm. You are welcome to use the facilities on Town Farm, which has a play area and tennis court, as well as local footpaths. There is also a footpath through the fields to the local pub, post office and tea room in Ivinghoe. We have an office on site, open Monday to Friday - 9.30-2.30pm and Saturday 9.30-12, and are always happy to see our guests! There is a key box outside the front door of the property, which will enable you to gain access, at your convenience, after 3pm on the day of arrival. There is also an emergency mobile number for out of hours. We provide a weekly linen change and bathroom refresh and would usually email you to let you know when this is arranged. We love the area because you can be in the middle of the countryside one minute and hopping on the train for a 50 minute ride to London the next. The Chilterns offer a wide variety of activities, from National Trust properties, walking through the bluebell woodlands, driving through the picturesque "Midsomer" villages, to visiting Tring Zoological museum, swooping down the real snow in Milton Keynes Snozone, or playing Top Golf in Watford. All within 30/40 minutes of the farm. We are also close to the Grand Union Canal which stretches from London to Birmingham and which offers leisurely walks and boat hire. We are also only around an hour from Stratford on Avon, a little further to Oxford and Cambridge, and is a good basis for sightseeing.
