The Annex on The Derwen
Enjoy a peaceful break in this one bedroomed newly completed Annex. Based in a quiet scenic area but within walking distance of amenities, there really is everything you need on your doorstep. Walk out of your door and find beautiful walks or drive to visit local beaches and areas of natural beauty. There is plenty to do and see locally including rambling, exploring historic buildings and many family friendly days out. The Annex is a brand new, cosy conversion nestled between common land and leafy woodland. As we are based on the common, it is a very peaceful place to be. With the woodland on one side of the property and several livestock around, you become fully immersed into nature. A diverse location as about ten minutes walk and you will be in the hustle and bustle of Macarthur Glen Shopping Centre. Or if you walk the other way, you will encounter far reaching, beautiful views over the valleys. On arrival you will be provided essentials such as; milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of chilled wine along with fresh eggs laid on site. We provide bed linen and towels for two guests. A lovely, one bedroomed annex with all facilities you need for a quiet stay. For those rainy Welsh days Sky TV and Netflix are provided. Please note, basic kitchen amenities available; microwave, fridge, hot plate, kettle and toaster. We are happy to consider children but please contact to discuss before booking. Thanks Guests have private seperate access to The Annex. Access is across our driveway but available 24hrs. The Annex is based on our property seperated by a low fence. We are sociable people but also work full time and understand and respect privacy. As we are based on the common, it is a very peaceful place to be. A strange place as about ten minutes walk and you will be in the hustle and bustle of Macarthur Glen Shopping Centre. Or if you walk the other way, you will encounter far reaching, beautiful views over the valleys. Although McArthur Glen and Sainsbury's are on your doorstep we would highly recommend a vehicle. We are 5 minutes from the M4, and about 15 minute drive to the nearest beach. There is parking available outside the property on the Common. We live on site as a family along with our dog, two cats and three chickens. As all is seperate and there is a fence, there is minimal interaction with guests.
