Waterfront House is the perfect accommodation for your stay in southern Tasmania, whether it be a family holiday, romantic getaway, travel with friends or wedding accommodation. Located a mere 35 minutes south of Hobart in the quaint village of Woodbridge, you will enjoy waterfront views across Peppermint Bay to Bruny Island. Conveniently located within the village precinct, you will have easy walking access to Peppermint Bay Hotel, the Woodbridge General Store and the Woodbridge Jetty. Waterfront House is modern, architecturally designed and light filled, with picturesque views across Peppermint Bay. The house provides year round comfort with heating and cooling options, open plan living and dining and a wrap around deck to enjoy the views. Situated on over 2500m2 of land, there is ample off street parking and plenty of room for families to enjoy the garden and wildlife. Keep your eyes out for resident native hens, pademelons, eastern barred bandicoots and the occasional black swan! The kitchen has a large island bench and is well equipped with an induction cook top, oven, dishwasher and microwave. The house is located across the road from the beautiful Peppermint Bay Hotel and would be the perfect accommodation for wedding parties or guests. Located a few minutes drive away from the seaside town of Kettering, where the ferry to Bruny Island departs and under 20 minutes to the artsy town of Cygnet. Woodbridge is the perfect base to explore the food and wine region of the Southern Channel and Huon Valley. Waterfront House is a family friendly Airbnb with a portacot, highchair, toys and books available. We also have wifi and Netflix enabling you to work while away or relax and watch a movie of your choice. We live interstate but our daughter lives locally, will manage your booking and is available to be contacted if you have any issues during your stay.
