We have many, many birds and little creatures, including the bandicoot - a small native marsupial, similar to a quokka. The rooms are oriented to maximise the views of the beautiful bush and flowers and birds can be seen from every window. We are 300m from a nine-hole golf course. There is a private entry and parking for up to two vehicles. Also you have a private lounge/dining room, alfresco area, bedroom(s), 1.5 bathrooms, and the gardens/grounds. You are most welcome to walk among the trees of the natural bush and orchard. I am a teacher of English (CELTA) and I positively welcome language students. Gumleaf House is away from the noise of traffic but only 2 minutes drive to the Kwinana Freeway. Gumleaf House is ideally situated for travelling around Perth. The Mandurah-Joondalup trainline, which runs into Perth city, is just two km away and we can frequently facilitate dropping off and picking up. Fremantle is accessible by public transport also. We are close to the hills and the beaches and day trips to Rockingham, Mandurah and Bunbury are very easy to do. Evening meals, at reasonable rates, can be provided by arrangement. Unfortunately, we cannot offer cooking facilities to our guests. Available facilities include a small fridge, microwave, toaster, tea/coffee. We can offer a second bedroom with twin beds suitable for families.
