Gamla Enskede is a peaceful and secure garden city, close to both nature and city pulse. Via subway five minutes away you have downtown Stockholm just around the corner. Within walking distance are also Ericsson Globe and Tele2 Arena, as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, ATMs, gas stations, bakeries, restaurants and playgrounds. A warm welcome to Gamla Enskede! Bedrooms and beds Three bedrooms upstairs. Room 1 with a double bed (180cm wide), room 2 with two single beds (90cm) and room 3 with a narrow double bed (120cm). The basement bedroom also has a small double bed (120cm). Kitchen Dining with seating for 6-8 people (up to 10 with extension board). Stairs There are a dozen steps up from the garden to the main entrance. The house has a staircase to the upper floor and a staircase to the basement. Kitchen As our guests, you have access to a spacious kitchen equipped for 6-10 people. Refrigerator, freezer, oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a sandwich maker, waffle iron, toaster, coffee machine, food processor, hand blender and a SodaStream. Bathrooms, toilets and laundry room Large bathroom with jacuzzi, separate shower, toilet and two sinks. Small guest toilet on the ground floor. In the basement laundry room you'll find a washer, dryer, a large sink and a separate shower. Garden Outside the kitchen door is our large wooden deck facing south-east, with garden furniture and a barbecue. Gamla Enskede is Stockholm's first garden city, founded in the early 1900s. The city is located just south of Södermalm. Here you'll find contemporary villas, lush gardens and small green areas intermingled with the winding narrow streets and alleys. Locally we have Enskede sports field with football and track and field operations, as well as Nytorpsbadet with its outdoor pool and cafe. Restaurants Gamla Enskede Matbod, Matateljén and Pizzeria Tomatis are recommended, as well as cafés Gamla Enskede Bakery and Gateau, all located nearby. Within walking distance is the Globe area with shopping and stadiums Ericsson Globe Arena, Tele2 Arena, Hovet and Annexet. In the newly built Tele2 Arena's entertainment complex Tolv Stockholm you'll find concert halls, restaurants and activities such as miniature golf, bowling, table tennis, billiards, shuffleboard and more. A few minutes from the house you will find Skogskyrkogården, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A unique, tranquil and beautiful place for lazy strolling. The house is located about five minutes walk to the Sandsborg station on the subway's green line. Five stations away from Sandsborg is Södermalm and another five will take you to the Stockholm Central Station. Traffic node Gullmarsplan takes you by bus to Stockholm's southern suburbs. Nynäsvägen highway (Route 73) takes you by car to Stockholm city center in a few minutes, and south to Nynäshamn in the opposite direction. Enskede is closely connected to the tunnel system Southern Link, which connects Årsta in the west and Hammarby / Sickla, Nacka / Värmdö in the east.
