Cwm Farm Cwtch Farm Cottage Brecon Beacons

Cwm Farm Cwtch, is a homely cottage set on a farm in Pontsticill, Merthyr Tydfil. You can enjoy the fantastic views and scenery, take a walk around our farm and interact with the animals (donkeys, chickens, dogs). Situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park, The Cwtch is in a perfect location for a number of activities, e.g Brecon Mountain Railway, Bikepark Wales, Morlais Golf Course, River fishing and lots more. There are a number of pubs in the village that serve food and local beers. As we are on a farm we do have dogs on the yard that are all friendly and we are happy for you to bring your dogs too. You will also find some chickens roaming around the farm yard and donkeys in the fields. We are avid mountain bikers and offer you secure bike storage and washing facilities. If you have any dirty kit that requires washing we will happily get that sorted for you. There is a large garden the guests can use at the side of the cottage with outdoor seating available. Mike & Jackie live in the attached farm house and will be available throughout your stay. If you have any questions or want some information about local attractions/activities we will be more than happy to help. Pontsticill is a small village however there are some great pubs that all serve food and have a warm welcoming atmosphere. We are a couple of minutes walk from the Taff Trail where you can walk or cycle up towards Brecon or down towards Cardiff. Please note that the Cwtch is on a farm and there are animals that roam the yard, chickens, peacocks, dogs and our donkey.
