Tranquil Wine Lovers Bed and Breakfast

Come stay in our South Australian oasis just 30 minutes from the centre of Adelaide. Our home is a spacious, quiet Tuscan-inspired home sitting on over an acre of green gardens. It's is very much a family home. Downstairs you will find the living room, dining room, sitting room, kitchen, study and extra bathroom. Upstairs are the 4 bedrooms (3 for guests). Our décor is rustic and cosy. This is a family home so we can provide everything you need for a comfortable stay. Just ask! We have a beloved dog, Elsa, she lives mostly downstairs in the kitchen and sitting room and sleeps all day. We can arrange airport or city pickup, contact us before you arrive. You are welcome to use our kitchen to cook your meals. Jean-François who is a chef can also prepare you a special meal for a reasonable fee. We can drive you to local wineries by prior arrangement depending on the distance. We are a Franco-Australian couple, and have been in the hospitality business for over 15 years. Jean Francois is a ex-chef, tour guide and wine importer and Meredith teaches English to migrants coming into Australia. We are extremely welcoming and you are welcome to have and much or as little interaction with us as you like. We speak English, French and Italian. Carey Gully is in the heart of the Adelaide hills, which is famous for its wine culture, fresh produce and beautiful countryside. We live walking distance from Blefari Wines (next door). Other close wineries include: Paracombe Bird in Hand, Tapanappa Wines, Pike & Joyce, Ashton Hills Wines, Mt Bera Cellar Door, Hahndorf Hill Winery, Petaluma Wines, Longview Vineyard, Casa Freschi, Somerled, Mordrelle Wines, Glen Ewin Estate, Karrawatta Wines, Deviation Road Winery, Mount Lofty House, Hardys Verandah Restaurant & Tasting Room. Carey Gully is a secluded paradise surrounded by nature but we have public buses that run from right outside the house in the morning and afternoon. Other wise JF works from home and can bring you down to the city upon request. Jean Francois (JF) can cook for you if you like and we are able to take you into the CBD with some forward notice. Dinners would be a small fee per head to cover ingredients.
