Timberline Park is a working farm situated at the peak of a hill, 12 km from the township of Mansfield, 2 hours drive from Melbourne and 45 minutes from the Mt Buller Resort. Set on 60 acres, we offer the cottage for farmstays which features spectacular views and is boarded by the Broken River. Timberline Park offers guests a farm experience of egg collecting, fruit picking and animal feeding. Visit our website Timberline Pastoral Co for more information, specials and photos. The cottage has two bedrooms (king beds), a fully self catered kitchen, fire place, dining and lounge in an open plan area, laundry and terrace overlooking the district. A 2 night minimum stay is required. Animals on the property include an alpaca, horse, sheep, lambs and chickens. NOTE: You will notice we do not charge a cleaning fee to assist you in enjoying an affordable country break. In return, we hope you will leave the facilities in the same condition as received. Due to covid-19 coronavirus we provide deep cleaning measures which include the disinfectant of all surfaces including door knobs, light switches, handles, remote controls, etc. Guests have access to the gardens, gazebo, tennis courts and crochet lawn. Situated in the foothills of the Great Dividing Range, Mansfield is surrounded by grazing land and mountain forests, with the area well-known as "Ned Kelly" country. The town centre has several historical buildings, dating back to its days as a stock route camp in the 1940s and a gold mining centre beginning in the 1850s. Mansfield is very much a tourist town featuring a wide range of accommodation and vibrant cafes, restaurants and stores. Closeby, enjoy the ski resort of Mt Buller - ideal for skiing, mountain bike riding and hiking, cold climate wineries, Lakes Nillahcootie and Eildon suitable for fishing, barbecues, picnics, swimming and boating activities. Mansfield is serviced by coach and is the terminus for the Great Victorian Rail Trail. Exceptional biking, horse, hiking and walking trails surround Mansfield. - Two single (floor) mattresses, suitable for children, can be provided as extra bedding upon request. - Please note the cottage is a shoe free area due to extensive carpeting. - As we capture rain water we ask you to assist us in minimising usage. - External animals (pets) are not permitted due to farm biosecurity issues. Thank you for supporting the farming community during these difficult times.
