Tira Ora Estate is accessible by Boat or Air, making our environment one that is unique, reviving and memorable. Transport details below: Just a 25 minute flight from Wellington Airport with Pelorus Air or a Cruise through the Pelorus Sound on the Mailboat that provides daily transfers: (Website hidden by Airbnb) we are 'zone 3' when booking your transfer. Watertaxis can be arranged for you throughout the week also, travelling back and forth from Tira Ora to Havelock Marina on a daily basis. You will have you own Private Chalet with your own bathroom and veranda. You will have access to the Clubhouse recreational area, you will have access to walking tracks (including walks up to waterfalls and micro-hydro system). You will have access to Historic Lodge for Breakfast, and other ordered meals. You will have access and ability to meet the onsite animals such as Ostrich, llama and Horses, Access to our Private Beach, Private Airfield, Working Greenhouse, You will have access to Tira Ora Trading Post, that features Organic Teas and other bits and pieces in the gift shop. You can order Hot Popcorn, Fresh Juice, Music Lessons, Hydro Tour, Eatable Herbs Walk, Star & Planet talk: by request. The Backyard is filled with glorious Mountains, Native Trees, Waterfalls, nature Walks and our front yard is a beautiful peaceful bay for swimming, fishing, Kyack or just enjoying the ambiance of the scenery from our jetty or a stroll along the bay. This land has been privately owned for the past 20 years and will continue to be a 'JEM' within New Zealand, to have the ability to be so close to nature without the busyness of urban life that so many of us are use too. Your daily interaction will be with the Host Family who live here, International interns who often stay and volunteer at Tira Ora, other guests and a lovely variety of animals you will get to know.
