Traditional stone House with a beautful sea view

A big traditional stone house suited on the hillside. The house is featured with a nice garden and terrace of unique view at the Makrigialos bay or the Pefki Gorge. We have 2 rooms both with a private bathroom, toilet. Air-conditioning and a fan is placed in both bedrooms. There is a private swimming pool with sun-beds in our wonderful garden full of flowers with an amazing sea view. You can use your private refrigerator and coffee and tea facilities. Ideal for nature lovers, only 1,3 km away from the heart of the Village and beach. The bedroom has a double bed, with a private bathroom (standing rain shower) and toilet. Terrace is a place filled with flowers and trees. There are 2 dining tables you may have your meals and relax. The view of the Mediterranean sea in the front side, and the beautiful high mountains of the Gorge Pefki rising up behind you. Guests have access to all outdoor spaces of the house with is around the house. Also swimmingpool, bbq place (green egg) and parking. There is also a big livingroom with fireplace. There is a small library and a kitchen corner with your private refridgerator an thea and coffe facilities. I am living in the house. I have a privateroom and bathroom. I can give you also a lot of good tips about; hiking, trips, restaurants and rental cars. The village of Makrigialos is located on Crete's southern coast east of Ierapetra; a 30 minute drive along the coastline filled with a number of secluded bays and quiet beaches. Makrigialos is a find, some away from any major or developed tourist towns. The older-seeming harbor area has some character-full cafes and tavernes. There is also a very nice pool, with sunbeds and entrance for free, you can order drinks and snacks. Makrigialos is framed in front of an impressive mountian backdrop with gorges that are more accessible and every bit as rewarding as the Samaria Gorge. The large sandy beach and harbour area is where we'd be temped to go and meet friends. It has some well conceived and decorated restauants, cafe's and bars.All the sunbeds on the beach are free for customers. There are local busses they go everywhere. The best option is to rent a car, because the last 300 meters to the house is a of road. You can ask me to rent your car. I have a very good contact with a car rental company deal, full insurance. My house is about 1,2 km away from the village. The last 300 meters is an off road but you are immidiately integrated into the beautiful nature off Crete.
