Cosy self-contained Bungalow surrounded by a garden paradise, located in the centre of The Junction and cosmopolitan Newcastle. The neighbourhood is easy-going, attracting young beach goers, families and foodies or all ages. Eclectic and homely accommodation with loads of natural light, with air-conditioned lounge including fold out sofa bed, combined kitchen/dining area, separate bedroom with super comfy Queen bed, and bathroom with shower and toilet. The kitchen is equipped with toaster, microwave, 2 burner portable stovetop, fridge, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and condiments provided. Fresh towels, bathroom necessities and hair dryer are also provided for your stay. Easy free street parking with a separate entrance down the side driveway to the rear garden studio. In the lush garden you may hear the frogs croak in their pond habitat or enjoy the variety of sounds from the birds that nest and feed from the flowering trees and find refuge in the garden. In the evening, you might be lucky to spot a little ring tailed possum too. We are located behind an early childcare centre so during week day mornings you may hear the friendly chatter and songs of little children. Includes: TV, Wifi, Netflix, Board Games, Books, Toys Reverse cycle air conditioner and ceiling fan in Lounge Fan in Bedroom and Kitchen Outdoor bbq and table area Access to the studio is via the driveway on the left side of the house through the side gate to the back garden. A lockbox for the key is located on the outside wall of the studio. You'll have complete privacy but should you need us, we are available any time to help with your stay to ensure you have a special visit. The local Junction Fair Shopping Centre is only 1 short block away. Here you can pick up all your provisions or any last-minute supplies from Coles, Greenacres Gourmet Meats, Bakers Delight, Scoop Wholefoods, Dough Heads, Popolo Gelateria, The Essential Ingredient, Buzz Junction Smoothies, Cocoa Nib Artisan Chocolate, SushiKoo, Sandbah Surf, Savant Apothecary, Liquorland, Terry White Chemist, or browse all the other boutique clothing and shoe shops nearby. There's also fresh sourdough and treats from The Hood, The Grumpy Baker, a local newsagent, a multitude of hairdressers, clothing boutiques, and loads more to discover. Public Bus (Number 14) from Glebe Rd or Union St and the “Next There” APP gives you access to regular public transport to the CBD, light rail, and major Shopping Centre’s of Kotara, and Charlestown. For the free-wheelers, pick up an electric Bykko bike from outside Talulahs and a 10min ride will get you down to Newcastle Beach or the foreshore (or around 3 mins by car). The garden studio is fire safety compliant and registered as an Airbnb host. Please let us know in advance if you will need the sofa bed made up during your stay, otherwise it will be left as a lounge. We also have a small but very friendly Cavoodle called Mango who loves to play fetch in the backyard. If you have a problem with dogs please let us know so we can accommodate your needs. No smoking is permitted in the studio or on the grounds of the property. We allow small dogs under certain conditions so please check with us prior to booking.
