The house is adjacent to the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and part of a working farm. Guests can relax in the sheltered garden or pretty courtyard after a day on the moors or the beach. The house is traditionally and comfortably furnished befitting its age, built in 1896. There are panoramic views to both the coast and moor. The location offers opportunities to visit local places of beauty and relax or a more active holiday! Great place for singles, young or mature couples and families. Farm animals and wildlife for neighbours. It is a quiet venue to be enjoyed by young and old. There are lots of suggestions of things to do in the welcome pack. A beautiful place to relax for all. Great for bikers, hikers and photography. Access to the farmhouse enclosed garden and courtyard. Ample parking in driveway. For ease vehicles can use the access through the field entrance. Guests are welcome to visit farm animals but only with strict permission by owner and with the owner being present at that time. I will be available to help throughout your stay if required. If you leave the property without discussing the problem, so that it can be assessed with the owner or named representative in person, no refund will be given if the guests have vacated the property. There is a travel cot, high hair and safety gate available. Whitby is 18 miles by road and is 25 minutes away.Local beaches even closer. The North Yorkshire Moors are two miles away by road with all its splendour to see especially in August/September when the purple heather covers it in a blanket. Far from public transport. There will be noises and smells (occasionally !!) that you may not be accustomed to! That is the way of farm life but we encourage you to learn from living on the farm.
