Sip welcome sparkling wine looking through the rainforest to distant Gold Coast lights at our spacious fully equipped home- a short stroll to the glorious Purlingbrook Falls! Have a relaxing break with the family or groups of friends. Featuring a parents' retreat with king bed, ensuited queen, 2 king singles, 3 roll away, 3 living areas, reverse cycle air con, fireplace, BBQ facilities, dishwasher, wifi, 2 big smart tvs, outdoor fire pit, lush gardens, and double garage. Xbox1 (BYO games). A large family home with 2.5 bathrooms and separate living spaces for all. 3 ROLLAWAY BEDS ARE AVAILABLE (these are suitable for children under 12 or modestly framed adults) Our first guest was a little late to submit a review but forwarded us the following : "We had such a pleasant surprise. Not only is the location stunning, it is literally right on the doorstep of some of the most scenic hinterland views, not too distant ocean vista and amazing waterfall encounters. It's a walker's paradise, but also caters for people like us that came along with 3 kids! The house itself welcomed us (thanks Bernie) with heater on an gentle music playing. The fire was ready to be lit and the kitchen fully stocked with anything we could have forgotten to bring. More than enough room for all of us. Thanks George, Melissa and Bernie...we loved it". The house has three bedrooms, kitchen, fireplace, garden, and reading room. One king size bed, one queen size bed, two king singles (which can be joined to become a second king) and three single roll away beds (suitable for ages 12 and under). The maximum adult occupancy is 6 and the maximum total occupancy is 7. If only 2 guests are staying the back part of the home will be closed off, still leaving a very large space with huge king bedroom, one and a half bathrooms, fireplace and all the other amenities listed. On arrival and any time assistance is needed via text or email. Usually our manager will be available to personally greet you. A lush, quiet haven- the perfect getaway! Purlingbrook Falls is a short walk away. Very private, even when day-trippers come on the weekends. The house is walking distance to most attractions but a car is needed to access the upper level of Springbrook and the amazing views from the 'Best of All' lookout. * Internet: We have satlite internet available, but this is limited and not always stable (due to the location). *RING video doorbell- this is primarily for security, we don’t monitor it-it is also an alternative means of communication should there be any access difficulties-push the bell button and speak * Fire warnings: Due to changing climatic conditions, there is always a risk of fire on Springbrook Mountain. The levels of risk of particular concern are severe, extreme and catastrophic. In case of catastrophic risk we will not be able to accommodate you at our home. Please refer to Queensland Fire Service Advice regarding current fire advice before visiting our home. If you decide to postpone/cancel your visit in circumstances of severe, extreme or catastrophic fire danger you will receive a full refund. * Water: A limited supply of bottled water is provided. The property relies on filtered tank water and the fridge has plumbed in water allowing further filtration. The water is slightly coloured by the foliage but this does not affect taste. If you would prefer, you should bring your own bottled water up the mountain. * Supplies: Most things are limited on the mountain. We would strongly suggest you bring your own food although we do supply some UHT milk, condiments. We have a Vittoria capsule coffee machine and plenty of capsules and a milk frother. There is also a little sparkling wine to welcome you. * Firewood is provided and you have a choice of 2 BBQs one in the jungle backyard and the other on the front verandah-we would ask they be cleaned after use. * Phone reception: Telstra is the most reliable phone network. * Bedding: All linen, warm bedding, and towels are provided. * Heating: There are 2 reverse cycle airconditioners and a fireplace. * Petrol: Please top up petrol before coming to Springbrook as no petrol is available on the mountain. The closest petrol station is at Nerang. * Other: The house relies on modern septic system-please do not put anything inappropriate down the toilet-if the system gets blocked there is a 150 dollar call out fee. The garden utilizes recycled waste water-this is not fit for drinking or even water play-please ensure children do not drink or play in sprinkler water. * For insurance and bedding purposes please let us know exactly how many guests to expect. *Please minimize noise after 10pm- while the house is in a relatively isolated we value our neighbours and their privacy. *Whilst the house will be fully cleaned after your departure we would ask that the house be left in an orderly state- if there is significant extra cleaning costs we may request extra payment NOTE: While we make every effort to keep house free of insects the house is virtually in the middle of rainforest -so it is inevitable insects will be around-especially in summer.
