A stylish Victorian garden apartment, which is very peaceful, has high speed Wifi, all amenities and offers a perfect solution to work from home, commuting or vacation. Very relaxing and comfortable. Well located for transport, shops and many huge local parks, all within walking distance. Share with the owner and their dogs. Welcome to my listing - hi I'm Joanne The apartment has recently been refurbished and has high ceilings, original wooden floors and throughout many more attractive period features. On top an additional draw card, is our close proximity to all the attractions London has to offer (or normally!)- we are extremely well connected on public transport with various options. Yet at the same time enjoy the peacefulness and vast green parks to recharge from the hustle and bustle. I'm the owner of the apartment and live there with my small dog, a wire haired fox terrier, Ashoka. We also sometimes look after up to x 3 dogs during the day. They are all well behaved but it's important for me to let you know that they will be at the apartment on some days. Normally sleeping after a very long walk! My professional background is in design and fine art, so throughout the apartment is a large collection of art, which constantly changes and we hope you enjoy too. I have travelled a lot and my aim is to provide a very homely feel, a real departure from a bed and breakfast or hotel but at the same time to provide you privacy. Most importantly I'd like to ensure that you feel looked after and have everything you need during your stay. Our guest room includes: * comfortable king size bed with hotel quality white bed linens & bath towels * bedside table * freestanding wardrobe and chest of drawers * desk & chair * built in shelves * high speed WiFi * Bluetooth Radio / CD System * private access to patio area / garden Shared Facilities: Kitchen & Bathroom * fully equipped kitchen - brand new Zanussi oven and induction hob, microwave, Fisher & Paykel fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, cafetiere plus pots, pans and silverware * allocated guest cupboard space for your groceries * plenty of basic cooking condiments supplied for you * washing machine (available to use on request, detergents supplied) * iron & ironing board * bathroom - guest hair and body products * goodies for our dog guests Guests are welcome to use our spacious reception room which also has a dining area. Please note that our dogs also use this area. Garden & Patio Area - The guest room has private access plus can be accessed via the kitchen, it's a very quiet area which includes seating and a BBQ Dogs: This is a dog friendly apartment but please check with me in advance. Regarding COVID -19 I adhere to our UK government guidelines around social distancing and at my apartment this includes taking extra special care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations. Please note there is an additional cleaning fee £20 charged on a fortnightly basis. This includes change of linen, your room being thoroughly cleaned and use of laundry on weekly basis with free detergents. Please note this is a raised ground floor property and at the entrance includes x 6 - 7 steps. This unfortunately will compromise easy access for a wheelchair. I apologise in advance for this. Any queries regarding access or particular needs please enquire in advance. Will be available to greet you on arrival and answer any queries. Thereafter when I'm not at the apartment will be easily contactable at all times. Please refer to our local guide in our listing for further information - we will keep adding to this! Within 5-15 minutes walk away you'll find everything you need and some great local eateries, gastro pubs, cafes, parks ... One of the really great parts is that you almost forget that you are in London. Located high up too, so the views across town can be fantastic. Yet still it only takes 17 mins by train to access London's, theatres, museums, galleries, shops and so many other main attractions. Having lived in the area for over 10 years one of the real draw cards for are the excellent transport links all within 5 mins walk and regular trains every 15 mins. BR Penge East - Victoria BR Sydenham - London Bridge East London London Overground - Canary Wharf etc All taking within 20 mins So excellent for sightseeing or commuters on a business trip. Parking outside our apartment is free.
