Chalet in secluded area in Gaerwen

The Chalet can sleep up to six people comfortably, with a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, and pull out double sofa-bed in the large open plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. The patio doors open out onto decking where you can relax in a tranquil setting. This listing is convenient to travel to anywhere on Anglesey but is situated in a beautiful and private location Guests will have access to the whole of the Chalet, plus the use of an acre field for games, dogs, sunbathing etc. We will interact as much or as little as you choose. Some of our guests have come into our house for dinner and some choose to keep themselves to themselves, we're here to help you if you require. Ashleigh House is a 5 minute walk from the local bus route, and is sandwiched between the A5 and A55 so transport around the island from here is so simple. The whole Chalet but not the adjoining summer house. We live on site and so are here most of the time to help with arrivals, any queries, problems or just some advice on where to go, what to see! We're here if you need us, but will stay out of your hair, if you don't! The village hosts 2 convenience stores selling food, newspapers, off-licence. There is a post office in one. 2 cash points in the village, a petrol station, hairdresser, fish and chip shop, children's play park Chinese take-away. The Gaerwen Arms, a local pub/restaurant in the village serves excellent food and is well worth a visit. We would suggest booking, there are other pubs serving food and a garden centre selling gifts, cards etc as well as their own excellent cafe with meals, refreshments and delicious cakes! You need not run short of anything, as all these are within walking distance if you need, yet the house and grounds are secluded. The seaport of Holyhead with its connections to Ireland are only about 20 minutes away, as are the train stations in Holyhead and Bangor. There are car rental companies close by and we can arrange a taxi, should you need one. We can supply a cot, travel cot and high chair for a small rental fee, which can save you the inconvenience of transporting large items. Please enquire.
