Tiny go Lightly is set up perfectly for a romantic getaway by the fire or a fun weekend with friends. The house is completely off grid but doesn’t lack any creature comforts – the wood fire keeps the house toasty warm of an evening and the deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the morning sunshine. If you've ever wanted to experience off grid living or tiny house life, Tiny go Lightly features both at their finest! There are two sleeping options in the tiny, the first being a comfortable queen sized futon on the mezzanine loft. To access the loft, you will need to climb up a fairly short, steep staircase. The second option is a king single day bed in the living area that extends into a very large and comfortable double bed. For those who don’t like the idea of stairs, this is a very practical alternative. The house is off grid, which means the power and water are not unlimited. While you shouldn’t have to worry about running out of either, please do be mindful of your resource use while in the house. The tiny house has a compost toilet which doesn’t flush. It still feels mostly like a regular toilet and is very easy to use. Detailed instructions will be provided before your stay. At this stage, the tiny house is not suitable for young children. With steep stairs, an unprotected fire place and a mezzanine loft, there are serious safety considerations for any children that require supervision. For this reason, the tiny is best suited for adults only at this stage. The tiny house is on a family property of 100 acres. There is a main house on the same property up and over the hill, well out of sight. You may have contact with the owners of the farm, including Mick who is a co-host at Tiny go Lightly. Walhalla and Mt Baw Baw are also special features of the area, perfect for bushwalking and exploring all year round. Both are less than an hour’s drive away. Tiny go Lightly is on Ravenscroft Farm in Tanjil South, 5-10 minutes’ drive north of Moe township. The closest shops are in Moe, where you’ll find a supermarket (open until 11pm), petrol station, pubs and some take away food.
