Your room opens out onto a terrace and a path that passes under a shady trellis and doubles up as a giant chessboard, leading to the garden and pool. The room comprises one King-size Double Bed, and has plenty of room for an additional mattress, so it can easily accommodate 2 adults + 1 child (at no charge if under 12). We are on the north coast of Bali, near to the town of Seririt and conveniently located halfway between the former island capital of Singaraja (45 minutes to the east) and Pemuteran (45 minutes going west), the region's leading diving destination and gateway to the West Bali National Park. We are only 20 minutes' drive from Lovina, the main tourist centre in north Bali, where you will find an ever-growing selection of restaurants, cafes and shops. Our restaurant, named Bora Bora - the Bar n Bistro by the Beach, is open from early morning for breakfast till late evening, we offer a wide range of international and Indonesian dishes, some wonderful grilled seafood and an extensive wine list and cocktail menu. Beware of our Mojitos and Margeritas. And be there for sunset, it is mesmerising, just watch as it sinks behind the volcanos of East Java 100 km away. We are only a 10 minute walk from Purijati, a popular dive spot that is known for a unique diversity of marine life. A short drive from here you will find spectacular waterfalls, hot springs, temples, lakes, mountains, ricefields, traditional markets, unspoilt villages and much much more. Our accommodation comprises 4 Ocean View Studio rooms, which each offer a Double Bed plus a sofa bed for a child or the third person travelling in your party, one Garden Studio which offers an unusually large floor area, one Family Suite that can accommodate a family of 5 persons, more if needed, and a spectacular villa (Villa Mayo) on the waterfront that has just been renovated that has accommodation for 4 persons. There are 2 restaurants within walking distance, both serving a combination of international and Indonesian dishes, as well as a large selection of wines, cocktails and mocktails. We can recommend many bars and restuarants further afield, many are in or around Lovina. Transport can be easily arranged. It is very easy to reach Mayo Resort by car or motorbike. If you prefer, we offer pick up and drop-off services to/from the Airport or any other part of Bali, at very reasonable cost. We can provide a car with driver, or organise self-drive rental at any time during your stay. All our drivers are knowledgeable, courteous and honest, and their cars clean and well maintained.
