Court Farm is a lovingly restored 16th Century farmhouse set in ten acres of grounds in the heart of the English countryside. With exquisite attention to detail the farm buildings have been immaculately renovated for self-catering accommodation, providing the ideal space for groups of up to 14 to get together and enjoy a country escape. Court Farm lends itself perfectly if social distancing is required; the accommodation can be split into two separate living spaces surrounding the Courtyard. Situated on the Wiltshire and Somerset border, Court Farm is close to the Georgian city of Bath and country market town, Frome. Both wonderful for meandering amongst the stunning architecture and brimming with bustling markets, antique shops, spas, restaurants and wonderful tourist attractions such as Bath Spa, Longleat and Stonehenge. The boutique style cottages are situated around your own private grassed courtyard and can accommodate groups of up to 14 people for short breaks or longer family holidays. One of the most appealing features for many guests is the huge vaulted indoor barn that provides the ideal space for get-togethers with a woodburner, cosy settees and large oval dining table. The accommodation options are as follows: •The Cottage – two large double bedrooms with luxurious ensuites (sleeps 4/6) with large kitchen/sitting room with woodburner and bedsettee •The Cider Barn – one large double bedroom with luxurious ensuite (sleeps 2/4) with kitchen/sitting room, woodburner and bedsettee •The Cow Byre – one large double bedroom with luxurious ensuite (sleeps 2) •The Dairy – one large double bedroom with luxurious ensuite (sleeps 2) •16th century Vaulted Indoor Barn – large entertaining space with huge oval dining table for 14, settees and woodburner Court Farm has been lovingly renovated with care to preserve the authentic characteristics of a Somerset farm, juxtaposed with chic modern touches. Throughout is an interesting mix of eclectic antiques and rustic furnishings all perfectly complimenting the rural setting and modernised rooms. The style is very much vintage (think aged leather as opposed to shabby chic), original artworks and a collection of antique furniture. All Court Farm accommodation offers luxurious Egyptian cotton linen, big comfy beds, soft creamy towels and spa style bathrobes, with beautifully scented Bramley bathroom products. All rooms boast the latest in technology with free Wi-Fi and Smart TVs for catching up on the latest game or watching a new movie On Sky TV. All rooms overlook, or have access to a private courtyard ideal for croquet, quiet reading or al fresco dining and sundowners around the BBQ. For the animal lovers (and the kids!) the grounds of Court Farm are home to an eclectic array of happy farm animals; you can pat the miniature ponies, feed the ducks on the pond or indeed the hungry sheep! And if you’re here in the harvest season, the gardens at Court Farm are blooming with plums, figs and pears, and the orchard laden with crunchy apples… perfect for seasonal picking and adding to your cheese boards or puddings! The Cottage With its own private entrance and overlooking the courtyard, this large cottage sleeps 4 to 6 people. The two super king bedrooms with exposed beams and wide oak floors are calm spaces with their own contemporary bathrooms, one with a luxury walk in shower and the other with a relaxing modern roll top bath. The large, well equipped kitchen with range style cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, all the mod cons (including Nespresso machine) and dining table to seat 6 adjoins the cosy lounge area. The underfloor heating and large Danish wood burning stove makes this the perfect place to relax with a good book, enjoy a family board game or watch a new movie on the Smart TV. The sofa converts to a large comfortable bed should you require additional sleeping space. The Cider Barn Recently converted, the Cider Barn (which sleeps 2 to 4 people) can be connected to the Dairy and the Cow Byre to sleep up to 8 people in total.
