A spacious, detached and self-contained one bedroom flat - access via steps with handrail. It is just 5 mins walk from the village train station with access to Manchester, Leeds and direct to Sheffield. It has open plan living, dining, kitchen and study areas with separate shower room and parking within a private gated driveway. No use of main garden but has french windows, juliet balcony and a lovely garden view. Ideal for a relaxing break. Close to Holmfirth, Yorkshire and Peak District. Ideal as a relaxing, getaway break with lovely local attractions such as the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the Hepworth Gallery, Holmfirth and city shopping within easy reach. There are also many local walking and cycling routes nearby and garage facilities for cycles are available if required. We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol here. It was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights, I sanitise high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I offer contactless meet and greet The flat is a great space if you want to just get away from it all in addition to the small welcome breakfast pack, toiletries and bath robes are also provided. There is a holistic therapy practice nearby, Rainbow Valley Healing (details in guide book) where relaxing reiki treatments are available from a leading therapist. All in all this highly rated flat provides a great relaxing retreat (Netflix, Now TV and iPhone dock), space for work (WiFi/desk/study area) , local leisure activities or simply great for visiting friends and family. Shepley is a beautiful, community focussed village with local amenities and shops including a lovely florist, newsagents and hairdressers. We are also close to the very popular Holmfirth with The Picturedrome, wonderful shops, bars and eating places. Penistone is only a short drive away too - another nice, small market town with access to a range of facilities, unique shops (independent fresh fruit and veg shop) and Penistone Paramount for a traditional cinema experience with interval! In Shepley there is a well stocked local co-op which has local produce from Cannon Hall Farm shop. More information available on request or in the guide book on arrival! Secure parking for one car in gated driveway. Local bus routes within a few minutes walk and local village train station only five minutes walk with routes direct to Sheffield and connections on from Huddersfield to Leeds and Manchester (all within the hour!). Prior to the 10am checkout we will message you to arrange collection of the keys.
