Room at Douro Retreat

Bedroom with queen bed sharing bathroom with just one other bedroom. I also rent the full house and a suite (bedroom with ensuite bathroom). I have 3 different offers for the same place. I hope you are not confused! There are 7 houses in the village . You have to drive to Sta.Mta.Penaguião to find a supermarket. These house is for those who want quietness and isolation. Landscape is extremely beautiful, drive slowly and narrow roads will not be a problem. Guests are welcome in all comun areas and kitchen. Guests have total privacy in the bedroom and ensuite private bathroom. Quim and Ana live at this beautiful retreat and love to share time and space with visitors. They both cook and look only for the very best products of the region to prepare meals, such as local organic meat and of course fresh vegetables from the garden. Guests are also welcome to cook and comun kitchen and use all outdoor facilities The closest restaurant is 2 km from our property. If you don’t wish to drive a mountain road in the evening, we can prepare a simple, home-made dinner, with organic vegetables from our garden and the best local products. Quim needs to know the previous day and the cost is 14 euro per adult and 7 per child.
