Self Contained Annex On Beautiful Animal Sanctuary

A private annex with a spacious living space (grand piano, guitars and drums for music lovers) and luxury king sized bedroom with put up beds on request. It has a large walk in shower room en suite, separate entrance and private patio so you can come and go and soak up the beautiful outdoors in privacy. You also have a mini-kitchen area with fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and of course a kettle. The back of the house is away from the road and a peaceful haven for people and animals. The house is in a village about 7 minutes drive from the stunning city of Wells and around 10/15 minutes from Glastonbury. Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are also really close by. When it comes to the land at our property, we love to see it used so you are more than welcome to walk around and make the most of it. There is always plenty to do! We have 4 dogs and 3 cats who are extremely happy to meet guests, and our animal sanctuary has over 100 rescues - goats, sheep, pigs, horses, chickens and ferrets! Sanctuary tours are available, to meet the animals and learn more about what we do here. Please ask us for more information. The music room is available for you to relax in which has a sofa, small library and patio doors opening onto your private patio and our 4 acre garden beyond. For stays of 3 days or more we are happy to do a clothes wash for you - the washing machine is in the main house. There will generally be someone on site to answer any questions you may have. If not, then we are always at the end of a phone. You are welcome to seek us out for a chat anytime. If you would rather have peace then the set up of the house enables you to have your own space with no necessity to interact. There are some lovely walks in the area. We often wander down the lane with our dogs to the local fords where they can splash about. There is also a footpath up Yarley Hill which takes you to the top of the world! We are 10 minutes from the beautiful village of Wedmore with some great pubs for food and 10 minutes from The Sheppey in Godney which is full of character and often has live music. Cycling is a great way to get around the area with just a 15 minute cycle into the stunning city of Wells and a little further to Glastonbury or Cheddar. As we are bordering on the Levels there aren’t too many hills to contend with! Driving is straightforward and we have plenty of parking space. There is also a bus route into Wells a minute from our door. We provide a continental breakfast. You have a microwave, toaster and small fridge (40 Litre so can hold a decent amount of bits and bobs). There is also a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine in the room. In keeping with our animal sanctuary ethos, all food and milks provided are free from dairy and animal products.
