Our Tree House .. Located on a north facing ridge with spectacular views of whale island and surrounding bush land , Water is from a pristine spring,tested 100% pure ( no chemicals ) Modern kitchen to bring out the creativity in you . Home heating is provided by a beautiful freestanding fire fuelled by wood harvested from the property sustainably while hot water is from our solar system ( bathing in the sunshine ) The Tree house boasts modern open plan living with three bedrooms master room is a supper king bed , second room has a queen size bed ,and bedroom 3 has 2 king single beds .Enjoy a close encounter with our native birds Amenities include dedicated bathroom with a view Two toilets and shower , extensive decking brings you close to nature . Local attractions ..White island New Zealand most active volcano, lives directly to sea and is accessible by tour boats or helicopter .Staying in the thermal theme, bathing hot pools are a 5 minute drive Whakatane township is a 10 minute drive , we are 12 minutes from Whakatane airport , 45 minutes from the city of Tauranga & 50 minutes from Rotorua . Bush walks , Ohope beach , fishing , shopping , boating opportunities abound . Dinning is well catered for in Whakatane ,Ohope Come and enjoy a real taste of NZ . Swimming pool .All living areas and grounds are available for guests to use at their leisure. Coffee, tea and sugar will be available. All linen and towels are included at no extra cost. There is a barbecue available. We have our own sheep , chickens and our neighbours have 2 miniature pony's We are situated on the main state highway ,allowing direct assess to Whakatane , Rotorua , Tauranga , Gisbourne . Te Urewera National Park is 25 minutes drive Whakatane airport is 12 minutes drive .
