Total relaxation, elegance, beauty, peace and amazing views is what you can expect when staying at our luxe country style farmhouse, an ideal getaway from the city while being only 25mins to Noosa and 7mins to charming hinterland towns. This beautiful newly listed Queenslander sits high on a hill framed by an ancient fig tree and huge jacaranda’s. The home feels spacious, cool, breezy and open to maximise the views to the ocean and nature beyond. It is nestled on the top of a ridge and on 8 spacious acres. There are 4 main bedrooms, 1 with an en-suite and a bathroom off the living/kitchen area. The bifold doors in the living area open out to the deck doubling the feel of the inside space, while the kitchens windows open up to feel like your on top of the world. You have a beautiful private entry and huge area for cars to be parked. When you get out of your car you walk up beautiful railway sleeper stairs in between a huge rock wall (gardens are still being established) The grand entrance to the home faces the west and when you first open the front door, your eye is taken immediately down the breezeway to the breathtaking views of Lake Cootharaba, the Noosa Everglades, the Cooloola Sandblow and Tewantin and Cooloola National Parks. On your left when you walk in is the queen bedroom, and on the right a double bedroom. A bit further on your left is the master bedroom with a king size bed, walk in robe and en-suite complete with a claw foot bath. All beds have divine French linen sheets and pillows. The living room has a stylish rattan day bed, which is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon reading a book or cuddled up by the fireplace. The doors and windows all bifold completely open, to give you the best opportunity to take full advantage of the incredible vista and let your body relax. The array of birdlife here will serenade you all day long while you can always enjoy an ocean breeze, even on the hottest day in summer it is cool here. The house has unlimited wifi, Smart TV a few board games to keep you entertained. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do and did creating it. Guests have full access to everything in the house except for the spare room off the back deck. This will be kept locked. We love to give you your space on your retreat from the world, so there is a lockbox for checkin but we are available to answer any questions or concerns from 7am till 7pm Situated only 7 minutes to local shops and cafes in Pomona, Boreen Point and Cooran, 5 minutes to local swimming holes, 15 mins to Tewantin and 30minutes to Noosa Main Beach, Figtree Farm is a perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We have a very peaceful neighbourhood and we all respect each other’s privacy and keep noise down after 9pm. There is no public transport out this way, so you will need your own car. We are on tank water and we have had 5 dry years. We kindly ask you to be mindful about water consumption. There is a dam on the property which you can see from your kitchen window, but no fence between you and it. So please keep your children away from it to keep everyone safe. There are 2 Geodesic Domes next door (but on the same property) where an organic sustainable farm is being established. You can see it from one of your kitchen window but the residents staying there are too far away to see you offering you total privacy. The Noosa trail is only 2 minutes drive up the road and Lake Cootharaba is 7 minutes down the road. Hike Mt Coorora, Pomona’s famous King of the Mountain while your here (also 7 minutes away). Also the cutlery drawer is above the oven.
