We both work but I'm home most afternoons and Erin works shifts so depending on the day we wont be too far away to offer any assistance. the Waingnaro hot pools are 13 ks away and you can carry on from there to Raglan beach(45mins)There's a tennis court at the school, swimming hole not too far down the road and the popular Hakrimata bush walk 9 ks away. Your own vehicle would be best as there is no public transport. We may be able to show off some of the near by bush walks, or the swimming hole but we both so chances are we wont be around, although we are happy to help with any queries at all.
