A uniquely situated spacious new barn conversion with underfloor heating, great views over the valleys and breakfast with the cows a few inches from your dinning room table. Bang on the cotswold way and shared use of indoor heated swimming pool. Great wet room showers. Barn conversion right on top of Selsley Common, stroud also on the cotswold way. Finished in august (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) we still have finishing touches so bear with us!) the barn has a large open plan kitchen, dinning and sitting room (60m2). You can reach out and stroke the cows from the dinning table (if there wasn’t a piece of glass in the way!) The mezzanine above with views over the common and valley beyond has a sofa bed. There is a second large sitting room also with sofa bed. The first guests said the wet room showers were the best they have ever had! The heating and hot water is powered by a wood chip boiler and the whole ground floor is polished concrete and stone flagstone all with under floor heating. Main bedroom has its own hand crafted staircase with separate wet room bathroom (with bath) and views over to Minchinhampton common Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds that can be zipped up to make a super king size bed. View into the 17th century stone arched cart sheds (currently to be cleared of building materials having just finished the inside!) Bedroom 3 has a teak single bed with second pull out single bed to give 2 singles. POOL - Guests also have shared use of the 10m heated indoor swimming pool - timings and bookings to be discussed however we will have an online booking procedure soon (shared with my family and friends). Subject to availability, for a further fee of £100 per night I can offer exclusive use for 10 hours a day. The deep end is 150cm and shallow end is 125cm. The pool is locked. Young children and people who cannot swim should be supervised at all times. The use of the pool is entirely at the guests own risk and we take no responsibility for any harm. NO GLASS, BOTTLES OR CERAMICS should ever be taken into the pool house. The pool is situated about 15 meters from the barn with its own private garden, picnic bench and bbq. We are also dog friendly and accept one or two well behaved, mature dogs (no puppies please) for a small additional fee of £25 per dog per booking. For the benefit of future clients, we do ask that dogs are kept downstairs at all times and stay off the furniture and that no trace of a dog remains after departure. Guests have full access to the barn with parking outside. The common is your garden however there is a small patio and grassed area by the front door of the barn. We are available by phone although mobile phone reception is not great all the time so texts/ (Hidden by Airbnb) tends to be best. We live on site so on hand for urgent issues. Woodchester mansion set in a national trust valley of woodland, fields and lakes is my favorite attraction - the mansion was stated in around (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and never finished. tours available around the house. Stroud has its own railway station and bus terminal. The stroud valleys can be explored by foot, bike, horse with a unique web of disused railways, foot paths, commons and national Trust properties with public access. You can get into the heart of stroud and nailsworth with hardly even seeing a road. Whether you are very active or just prefer a toddle to the benches a few hundred meters from the door with views over the Forest of Dean and on into Wales you have everything on your doorstep. Great walks, bike rides, running etc around the woods, commons, disused railway lines and along the canal. You can get far and wide with barely touching a road! Don’t forget your swimming gear! Paragliders frequently use the common due the thermals and wind. Bristol gliding club is 1 mile along the escarpment. They offer guest flights with an instructor.
