Right Fork at Joe's Valley Boulder Haus is a completely renovated 1 bedroom apartment in a 100-year-old house on the ground level. Comfortable & inviting, it's a perfect place to come & stay while you climb at Joe's Valley, boat on 1 of 3 reservoirs, hike the Manti La Sal mountain range, challenge your mountain bike skills on the Behind the Reef Trail, do yoga on a ledge of the Wedge Overlook, zip line at the Swell Retreat, day trip to Goblin Valley, or explore the San Rafael Swell w/4x4 or UTV. A comfortable and clean one bedroom apartment that is on the ground level with a ramp leading into the front door for easy access to bring bags in. The front door leads into the living room that has a tv and sofa, a work desk that turns into a queen size bed, well lit with natural light in the day. Walk from the living room into the full size kitchen with typical kitchen appliances and dining area. The kitchen is stocked with some basic cooking essentials. The dining area has a door entry into the bathroom that features a walk-in shower. The bedroom is at the back of the apartment with a dresser and a closet. The closet does have a bouldering pad in it and we are happy to remove that if you don't plan to use it during your stay. All the walls in the house are double sheet rocked with extra insulation and barrier rooms with closet space that adjoin to the Right Fork apartment. The apartment has it's own water heater (plenty of hot water) and central air (furnace and AC) that is climate controlled with your personal thermostat. Fiber internet for a smooth internet experience. Shared backyard: -Pickle ball court -Two picnic tables -BBQ with propane -Outdoor lighting for evening use -Basketball hoop (2) -Ladder ball game -Corn hole game Free parking in the designated parking labeled "Right Fork Parking" and on street parking if needed, but there are two spots for Right Fork so that shouldn't be a problem. We prefer you park in the designated spots. Castle Dale is a quiet town. Our neck of the woods is made up mostly of old homes and families to the west and the town to the east. -Great diner: Fatty's -Pizza Place: R's Pizza -JR's: on the corner from the Boulder Haus, great breakfast -Laundromat in walking distance -Historic bridge in walking distance: turn right on the sidewalk in front of the Boulder Haus and the road dead-ends into it -The Swell Retreat: zip line, water slide, Wibit (72' adventure water island), swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing. -Swimming pool with waterslides (indoor and outdoor) The town of Castle Dale is small and everything on the main road is within walking distance. -The San Rafael Swell is a 30 minute drive to one of the best scenic views, The Wedge Overlook. -The 3 reservoirs are within 25 minutes by vehicle. Huntington Reservoir is 15 minutes away. -The Swell Retreat is 5 minutes away. If you plan to bring your dogs please let us know in advance. We do not have any kennels on site, please be sure to clean up after your pets. If your pets have a history of aggression they simply aren't allowed. We love fur babies and hope that you will have a good visit with them.
