'Inverness' Upstairs hideaway. Close to station.

Come and stay! Totally private area with lovely views from the windows. Two rooms plus private bathroom. Warm in Winter. Cool in Summer. Daffodils in Spring. Autumn trees abound in Autumn. House directly opposite the Woodend station. Walk across the road and you're there! We have a labrador called Hugo who will welcome you........See us on (Hidden by Airbnb) This area is inside our house but it feels like a separate place so I have listed it as such. The rooms are upstairs in a private setting where you can be self contained. A good workspace as well. Next to the bedroom is a sitting room with a table/chairs and wardrobe. Here you can make tea/coffee/toast as well as use the microwave. There is also a fridge. The bathroom is beside the bedroom. You will find extra blankets in the wardrobe and the bed has an electric blanket if you need. You will have access to the whole upstairs area. There are a couple of comfy chairs and a tv. This is a self contained area away from the rest of the house. We are always available to assist guests but you can have total privacy also. Just let us know if you need anything. We are in the centre of town, opposite the station with the bush just at the end of the street as well. All seasons are beautiful. Autumn leaves, snow at times in Winter. Not too hot in Summer and daffodils galore in Springtime. Close to Mount Macedon and Hanging Rock. Daylesford and surrounds in 30 minutes.....bus to Daylesford across the road at the station. Crisp fresh air. Quiet and relaxing environment. Lovely Main Street with oodles of cafes. Woodend is a beautiful town and the surrounding Macedon Ranges provides plenty of stunning scenery and activities for visitors. If you have time, pop out to Hanging Rock, or across to Trentham for a meal at The Cosmopolitan. Visit the summit of Mount Macedon, or take the 10 minute drive to Kyneton and visit historic Piper st.......and walk around town and view the beautiful old architecture. Walk the old rail trail from Lionville to Trentham. If you arrive by car there is a shed up the back where you can park. Train station opposite our house. Trains on the hour. One hour trip to Melbourne. One hour trip to Bendigo. Bus to Daylesford/Ballarat from the station. Walking around the town is a lovely thing to do. There is a great children's park behind the main st. We love living in Woodend! No cooking facilities are available but there is a kettle/toaster/microwave/sandwich maker for your convenience. A fridge also. You are welcome to use the washing machine which is located downstairs in the laundry directly below the bedroom. A drying rack is also available. We provide breakfast essentials including bread, butter, jam, juice, milk, coffee and tea. There is good pub food a couple of minutes away and other restaurants/cafes which also serve good food. We like Paysanne....great croissants.
