The Cabin@Tanglewood, South Devon Country Retreat

A fabulous country retreat for couples or families looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. Set in 15 acres of woodland and countryside close to both the coast and Dartmoor. With no street lights and being surrounded by nature, you will probably sleep better than you have in years. A pause from the real world! Open plan, with a properly equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and comfortable bedroom area with plenty of storage and a selection of board games and books! A moment to recharge! The cabin is accessed through our garden and you are most welcome to share the garden and take a stroll in our woods during your stay. The cabin is yours alone during your stay and you will have your own key for 24 hour access. The kitchen will be waiting for you, supplied with delicious treats for a continental breakfast. Your cabin is exclusively yours during your stay, but you will see us around. The Cabin is close to the main house. We'll not interrupt your stay unless you'd like a chat or an insight into the area. Our two young girls will be out and about playing or adventuring, as will our Labrador Lola. The three won't bother you, unless you have children who would like a play mate! A stunning location! Marley Head is situated 1.7 miles from South Brent, a small town on the edge of Dartmoor and 6.5 miles from Totnes, famous historical town (Totnes has many attractions including a castle, market and many pubs, cafes and restaurants). There are fabulous pubs nearby serving delicious food. An idyllic rural yet accessible location with Dartmoor and coastal walks, historic towns, a variety of tourist attractions (including zoos, aquarium, farms, adventure activities, National Trust and much more) and also set within easy reach of the cities of Plymouth and Exeter. The sea is just 12 miles away and the stunning South Hams coastal villages, set in an Area of Outstanding Beauty, including Dartmouth and Salcombe, are all within easy reach. Situated very close to the A 38 enabling easy access to all that South Devon and Dartmoor have to offer. A regular bus service runs from the roundabout 2 minutes walk from us enabling access to Plymouth, Exeter, Totnes and Torquay. However, a car is a very sensible way to get around the area, unless you are an avid cyclist!
