As a current Taranaki Fringe Festival Garden participant, and ex Powerco Taranaki Garden member this Taranaki farmland is peaceful and stunning. This listing is for the entire lodge as is set in a stunning and spectacular garden, this property has an understated country feel. Parties or events are not allowed. Lodge consists of 4 spacious bedrooms - Large quality Master bedroom has Super King Bed, large quality bedroom 2 has Super King Bed, Bedroom 3 has double/single bunk, attic has 2 single beds,(NB: All super King Beds are splittable into single beds if required), 2 bathrooms, log fire in lounge, large TV, wifi (coverage is best we can receive in our area), open plan living dining with a fully equipped modern kitchen. Main bathroom has beautiful double head shower, bath, underfloor heating and towel rail. Large garage with automatic door opener will ensure your cars are safely tucked away while you enjoy our beautiful garden. This property has it all. Comfortable for large group (Sleeps 9+). Quality Linen and towels are provided and included for your stay. A stunning feature of the house is the display of some artwork from local artist Margaret Scott. Margaret's studio is situated in Oakura approx. 40 mins north towards New Plymouth. Take in the views looking up towards Mt Taranaki while enjoying a drink on the deck, or you can wander the stunning grounds. There is a BBQ available. Sugar Juice Cafe, Arty Tarts Cafe and Headlands are only 10 mins away in Opunake for a drink, meal or latte, Pihama Lavender Factory is 5 mins away to enjoy artwork and the occasional concert, or Puketapu Surf and fishing spots are near the end of the road. Middleton Bay Boat ramp is located 10 mins away in Opunake. You will have the entire house and gardens to yourselves and you are welcome to feed the goldfish in small fishpond in garden once a day. You will be able to check yourself in, and we will be available for any questions or queries during normal business hours, and available after hours, in case of an emergency. Quiet and friendly neighbourhood - listen for the native birds. House situated on working dairy farm. Own car transport required. Mt Taranaki offers good walking routes - with Dawson Falls being 15 mins away. Ski Field is approx 35 mins away. Taranaki Renowned Surf spots are located all along our Coastline Opunake Walkway is a great way to see Opunake Lake and surrounding walkways along the coastal shore. Middeltons Bay in Opunake is 10 mins away where you can launch your boat and enjoy the fishing off our beautiful West Coast. (subject to weather) We kindly just ask that you strip the beds, do your dishes, vacuum and mop floors, remove rubbish and leave the property tidy before you depart.
