Chatsworth Cottage

Spacious cottage with impressive spiral staircase and super kingsized bed and logburner. Two excellent pubs within 5 mins walk. Close to Chatsworth House and Monsal trail for walking and cycling. The cottage is very centrally located for visiting the Peak District. The cottage offers numerous walks from the door, a bath to soak in (or a shower) and 2 excellent pubs a short stroll away. We are usually on hand to deal with any problems We live on the edge of a peaceful village surrounded by farmland in a beautiful part of the country. The village of Little Longstone boasts a telephone box and an excellent pub 'The Packhorse'. People come from far and wide to taste the delicious food and very quenchable Thornbridge beers. The monthly Thursday night fun quiz is the highlight of the week and its always best to book a table. Located in a rural village means that public transport is available but is limited. Guests can hire bikes closeby. The cottage is now benefitting from a much improved wifi speed - thanks to BT. This site will automatically give you a discount of 5% for bookings of 4 nights or more. The cottage is self catering and there is a fully equipped kitchen. We will however provide basic condiments and leave some cake (usually homemade) or biscuits for guests to enjoy. We accept 1 dog in the cottage at an additional charge of £5 per night. We ask that dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.
