Set in the heart of the Cumbrian lies our award-winning Wild Rose Holiday Park. Breathe in the fresh air of the Pennine's that surround the park whilst sipping coffee in our onsite bistro. If Coffee isn't your thing there is a lovely bar and restaurant on site. Guests must check-in at our reception on site • Check in time 3pm • Check out time 10am Pets are welcome extra charge of £7 per pet per night which will be charged separately. In Appleby there are many areas of attraction such as the St Lawrence Bridge that overlooks the famous River Eden. There are many walking trails round the area including Rutter Falls, which is described to be perfect for all nature lovers and family adventures. There is also Appleby Leisure Centre for those days when the weathers miserable. There's a large swimming pool and small children's play pool indoors. At the leisure centre there is also a gym. Appleby isn't short of historical buildings including the famous Appleby castle and St. Anne's Hospital if they are something you are interested in. There are no accessible public transport from the park but there's a train in the Appleby town All guests will need to bring all their own bedding and towels as we don't provide pillows, duvets, bed sheets or towels as it is a glamping accommodation
