Beautifully renovated 400year old Istrian limestone house. Wake to the sounds of birds singing and relax with a deep breath of fresh air. Located within easy access to the coast and centrally located to the sights of Istria. Numerous restaurant options nearby offering wonderfully rich istrian treats including truffles, sheep cheese, locally produced olive oil and wine, etc. Located in proximity to a local konoba (organic agritourism) and numerous restaurants of Motovun, Buzet, Zrenj, etc. The house has been carefully restored using local istrian crafts and materials with many recycled whilst observing an ecological approach. The house can comfortably house 4 to 6 people or less with a total of 160m2. Including 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, lounge mezzanine (with large bed and sofa bed) and a spacious kitchen, dining space. While staying here you can enjoy the breathtaking view over the Mirna Valley, walk through numerous steeple-top villages, dip into your creative side or alternatively its perfect for simply relaxing with a morning coffee, an afternoon tea, a glass of local wine or g&t! Situated in the heart of the Istrian peninsula surrounded by vine yards and olive groves. On a ridge of the Mirna valley and base of the hill to Sovinjak with its rich olive making history. The house is located at the entrance of an old village surrounded by beautiful nature and close to many marked-out walking and cycle routes (maps and guides in the house). For the active types the house is close to mount Ucka national park and a short drive to the Mediterranean sea. There is ample opportunity to hike, cycle, walk, climb, swim, picnic, paragliding, etc. In the evening you can enjoy the pool, sundowners or marvel at the night sky. Surrounded by nature and minimal artificial light you can enjoy unspoilt views of the milky way – on clearest night casting a shadow. All the nature of camping with the comfort of cosy home. The most convenient airports are Pula and Rijeka in Croatia (approx 45min), Trieste in Italy (approx 1hr), Venice and Ljubljana in Slovenia (approx 2hr).
