"Hilleen"country cottage

Renovated 2 bedroom self contained cottage in the beautiful Macedon ranges. Only 70 kms from Melbourne CBD and 40 mins from Tullamarine airport. The cottage is on our 70 acre property, with kangaroos, wombats and abundant birdlife to enjoy. Wineries, bike tracks, walking! Self contained cottage, comfortable and clean. 2 TVs, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. You will have privacy but we are close by if you need anything. Local wines and our own eggs are available if you would like them. Feel free to wander around the property, take a stroll to the creek that runs around the back, or ride your bikes around the countryside. You have the whole cottage, and you are welcome to wander around the 70 acres. Wear sturdy shoes in snake season (warm months), and please close any gates behind you if you open them. We are on site and available to meet you, tell you about the area and give you any help you need. We have wineries, bike tracks, walks, views, pubs and restaurants, abundant wildlife as well as the famous and eerie Hanging Rock all nearby. You will probably need a car to get to us, unless you talk to us in advance, we may be able to collect you and drop you off if that's what you need. You can of course cycle here. A couple of things that we have learned from our hosting experience so far: * We do not have town water, we rely on rainwater to fill our tanks, so we would be be very grateful if you could be water conscious and limit your showers to 3 minutes. * We want everyone to relax and enjoy their stay with us, and when you check out please just leave the cottage the way you found it. * We understand that breakages are inevitable, just let us know if this happens.
